In Aviation was established in 2004 by a group of Vietnamese-American
pilots from the United States. Our purposes are to promote Aviation to
the community in the U.S. in the effort to expand our presence in the
industry and also to reach out to those who only seek to fly
recreationally. If you find this subject to be of interest, please join
in and explore what was once considered impossible by many.

Captain Pham Q. Khiem's retirement
VIA and our members would like to extend the biggest congratulations to Captain Pham Q. Khiem
for his completion of 20 years with US Airways. His 20th year marks the
end of a professional flying career but at the same time, a fresh
beginning to a happy retirement. Capt. Khiem is a native of Vinh-Long and grew up in Da Lat.
His flying career started during the "Vietnam conflict" as a C-130
Hercules pilot with the VNAF. After a few years flying in the U.S.
general aviation sector, he landed a job as a Boeing 727 pilot for a
freight operator then on to US Airways where he was last seen
comfortably in a cockpit of an Airbus A320. Please join us in wishing
him a happy retirement and congratulate him on completing a successful
flying career.
Send best wishes here
